Olympia Coffee | Seattle Interior Photography

Tucked into the heart of downtown Seattle, Olympia Coffee’s newest café blends timeless materials, rich color, and intentional design into a space that feels as warm and layered as the coffee it serves. Capturing this project through the lens was not just about documenting the layout—it was about revealing how light, tone, and texture create an experience the moment you walk in.

From the moment the sun hit the polished oak floors, it became clear that this shoot would be a study in light and shadow. As a commercial photographer specializing in interior and architectural photography, I’m always looking for ways to honor the design without overpowering it—letting the architecture lead, while framing it in a way that feels editorial and immersive. The deep green tile, sculptural woodwork, and brass accents all came to life through soft morning light, giving the space a cinematic, almost tactile presence on camera.

Working in an open, public-facing location presents a unique rhythm—moments of stillness paired with natural movement. The presence of people added context, energy, and narrative. A woman strolling past the glass storefront. A perfectly set espresso bar with half-sipped cups and plated pastries. These scenes tell the story of how the space lives, not just how it looks.

What I love most about photographing projects like this one is how they reflect a brand’s ethos—Olympia Coffee’s dedication to craft, quality, and atmosphere is embedded in every design detail. My goal was to preserve that feeling in every frame: grounded, beautiful, and quietly bold.

This gallery is more than a visual record—it’s a window into the soul of a space designed for community, connection, and craft.
